Hi, I'm Kayla. I am the Founder and CEO of KCM Boots. My story begins 6 years ago when I first started line dancing and needed cowboy boots. I went to all the usual places to look for my boots, and I only found 2 pairs that fit. I am a size 10, wide calf girlie. The calves were tight, but I was determined to have cowboy boots for dancing. It was just a few weeks later when the boots were starting to dig into my legs and leave bruises. I tried having them stretched, but it just wasn't enough. The boots I bought had 16.5 inch calves, that was supposed to be wide enough! But it wasn't. Fast forward 6 years, I now own 20 pairs of boots. Only 3 of which are over the mid-calf height. The others are all booties. If you can find wide calf boots, the styles are limited to basics, or they only come in a corset version. We are looking to change that.

Wide does not necessarily mean wide enough. We want to give everyone their Cinderella boot moment. We want to make boots with multiple calf and width options! So stick around, it's going to be fun!
